This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official Lewis County booking record. Contact the agency, facility, court, or corrections office that holds the record.
Where to Ask for a Record
Use the office that created or currently controls the record. The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is the local starting point for county incidents and its public-records form. Its page says incident requests go to the Prosecutor's Office for review and usually take three business days. No separate Lewis records line, records-counter hours, or booking-photo fee schedule was published.

Lewis County Jail is marked closed in the Idaho Sheriffs' Association directory. For possible current facility status at the regional facility, contact Nez Perce Sheriff contacts and detention at 208-799-3132. - For a Lewis County arrest report, booking sheet, or possible photo, use the sheriff's form and name the agency and date.
- For current regional facility status, use the Nez Perce in-custody page, then call detention to confirm.
- For a warrant question, call the Lewis County Sheriff at 208-937-2447 or ask the relevant court how status is verified. Do not approach anyone.
- For a recent arrest, use the home page's county-wide route, but remember that no Lewis same-day feed was found.
- For a case or disposition, search Idaho iCourt or call Lewis County court information at 208-937-2251 and the clerk at 208-937-2661.
- For Idaho prison, probation, or parole status, use the IDOC Resident/Client Search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator and follow that agency's contact rules.
What to Include in a Request
Give the records office enough detail to identify a narrow file. State the incident or booking date, the person's name if known, the city, the arresting agency, the facility, and whether you want an incident report, booking sheet, intake photograph, or release information. Ask for the nonexempt portion if some material is withheld and request a current fee estimate before authorizing copying or staff time.
Idaho Attorney General guidance says a request should identify the requester and contact information and address residency for fee rules. A request is not a demand that an agency create a new report or certify guilt. If the agency says another office is the custodian, send the request there and keep the referral.
For Corrections or Court Questions
The sheriff cannot answer every state, federal, immigration, or court question. A person sentenced to IDOC belongs in the state search and records route. BOP covers sentenced federal custody and supplies no public booking photos. ICE covers current immigration detention and also supplies no public photos. A court clerk handles case documents, hearings, and disposition questions.
Use 911 for an emergency. Do not use a records number, email, or social account to report an immediate threat or to confront a wanted person.
